You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think
– Winnie the Pooh –
Everyone has the potential to grow, and I’d love to help you do that. Aside from my work as a leader and consultant, I’ve always enjoyed guiding people in their longer term personal development. As an educationalist I do this from the conviction that a person has only really learned once their behaviour has changed. That’s why my work is goal-oriented. For individual coaching to have real value you have to demonstrate effort and engagement, just as I do.
I offer:

How does coaching work?
Coaching always starts with an informal, one-hour interview that is free of charge. During this conversation we get to know each other and explore your development needs. Afterwards we both decide if we want to embark on this journey together. I will tell you honestly whether I believe I’ll be the right guide for your process.
After this we’ll see each-other 6–8 times within an agreed timeframe. We’ll plan our next session after each meeting to ensure continuity in your learning process. I’ll also ask you to reflect in writing within 24 hours of each session on how it has benefited you. During the process we’ll also regularly evaluate whether we’re getting results on your personal learning objectives. The development process doesn’t only happen during the sessions, so I’ll give you some assignments to do between our meetings.
Confidentiality and feedback
I never tell third parties about the content of the sessions, unless the client agrees that we need to share something with an employer or others. Confidentiality is paramount. In some cases, the employer may be present during an intake or evaluation. These are always constructive dialogues where clients and employers share their thoughts on their expectations or the results of the coaching.
My characteristics in this role:
Empathic, non-judgemental, mirroring, quick to get to the heart of things, analytical, creating perspective, skilled communicator, decisive, thinking in possibilities, confidence-keeper, motivating and inspiring, from a systemic perspective.
